THE DETAILS
Two things decide whether a pair gets worn or sits in a drawer: what it weighs, and how far it hangs. Both are below.
Weight and distance decide that together. Set diamonds bring gold with them, and the further that metal sits from the lobe, the more you'll feel it by the evening. A tenth of a carat is nothing to wear all day. A four carat drop is jewelry you put on for the night and take off before bed. If your ears get sore easily, buy toward the light end of this shelf and keep the length short.
Measure it against your own jaw, because on a screen every pair looks the same length. A drop that stops above the jawline stays clear of a collar and reads as everyday. One that clears the jaw swings, and it's the first thing anyone notices about you. Hold a finger where you want the bottom of the earring to sit before you order.
A hoop closes back on itself and sits against the ear. A drop hangs below it and moves. Plenty of the pairs here do both at once, which is why the shelf is named for the two of them rather than one. The hoop gets worn more; the drop gets noticed more.

Real. Same carbon crystal as a mined stone, graded on the same color and clarity scales, and a loupe won't separate them. The difference is what they cost.
