Colored stones don't follow diamond rules. Here is what actually changes the price and how the stones behave on a wrist.
Color, first and by a long way. A ruby that leans orange and a ruby that's pure red can be the same weight and nowhere near the same money. Clarity and cut come next. Carat weight matters least, which is the opposite of how a diamond is priced.
Yes. Both are corundum, hardness 9, second only to diamond. That matters more on a wrist than on a finger. A bracelet spends its life against desks, steering wheels and door frames, and corundum takes it.
Emerald is softer, roughly 7.5 to 8, and nearly every emerald carries inclusions from the ground it came out of. That's the nature of the stone, not a fault in the piece. It just means an emerald bracelet wants more care than a sapphire one. Take it off before the gym.

There are only 6 designs on this shelf, and that's honest rather than modest. Building a full row of matched sapphire, ruby or emerald means sorting through a lot of material, so we keep the designs few and make each one to order.
