At the base of the neck on most adults, right about the collarbone. That's the length included free with every pendant here, and it works under an open collar or above a crew neck. Two inches more drops the pendant roughly an inch lower, and 20 inches puts it below the collarbone, which is where people wear one over a sweater.
The free chain is the 16 inch, and that's what ships with the piece. If you want a different length, contact us before you order and we'll see what we can do about it.
A pendant is the part that hangs. A necklace is the pendant and the chain together. Everything on this page is sold finished, chain included, so there's nothing else to add at checkout.
