The questions that come up before someone buys a square stone, answered the way we'd answer them at the bench.
Yes. Same carbon, same crystal structure, same hardness, same way it bends light, and it's graded on the same color and clarity scales as a mined stone. What changes is where it grew and what it costs. A lab grown princess sits well below a mined princess of the same specification, and that's the reason most people are on this page.
Two reasons, and they stack. A square comes out of the rough crystal with far less waste than a circle does, so you aren't paying for weight that got ground away on the wheel. Demand for round also runs higher than for any other cut. Buying direct from the factory is where the rest of the difference goes.
The corners are the weak point on a princess. We set them with prongs that wrap the corner instead of sitting beside it, and set that way it's no more delicate than anything else on this page.
A little, face-up, at the same carat weight. A princess carries more of its weight below the table, so less of it points at whoever you're talking to. If you'd rather have the spread, the money you saved buys a heavier stone.

The shelf runs every one of them lab grown, and the title on every card says which. Some of the eternity bands set princess cut sapphires, rubies or green emeralds alongside the diamonds, and their cards say that too.
