I play a fun game of spades every two weeks and I get so many compliments and until I blush. I wear it a lot. I'm glad I bought it. Thanks for the price deal I got.

THE DETAILS
Buying a Loose Diamond, Explained
Straight answers from the people who price and set these stones. Every order includes the PrimeStyle Jewelry Report, our in-house appraisal, with the stone’s grades and its retail replacement value for insurance, ships free in the US, is backed by a 30-day return window from the ship date, and can be financed through Affirm at checkout. Anything not answered here, contact us and we’ll check the exact stone for you.
A loose diamond is a stone sold on its own, not set in a ring or pendant. You choose the exact carat, color, clarity and shape first, then decide what to set it in. Every diamond on this page is a natural stone, never lab-grown.
Because there is no one in the middle. We make our own jewelry and sell it straight from our factory, without the markups a traditional jeweler adds at every step. You pay for the diamond, not a showroom’s rent.
On this page, a 1.00 carat natural diamond runs from $2,145.99 for a K-L color, SI3-I1 clarity stone to $3,055.99 for an I-J color, VS clarity stone. Carat is only one of the 4Cs: at the same weight, color and clarity move the price, which is why two 1 carat stones can be priced far apart.
Yes. A natural diamond’s value comes from its 4Cs: carat, color, clarity and cut. That is why the color and clarity grades are printed on every card here, and why the PrimeStyle Jewelry Report comes with every order. The stones here are EGL certified unless the listing says otherwise. You also have 30 days from the ship date to have the stone checked independently and return it if it is not what you expected.
Shape first, then carat, then balance color and clarity against your budget. Shape sets the look and carat sets the size. On color and clarity, a stone a grade or two down often looks identical to the naked eye and costs a lot less, and that is where most of the savings are. Contact us with the setting you have in mind and your budget, and we’ll point you to the stones we’d pick.

About Our Natural Loose Diamonds
Every stone here is a natural diamond sold on its own, priced on its own, so nothing is buried in the cost of a setting. We’ve made jewelry in our own US factory since 2001 and sell direct, and the stones are priced the same way.
The code on each card is the stone’s grade. The letters are color, from D (colorless) toward Z, and the code after the slash is clarity, from VVS down through VS, SI and I. A range like J-K/VS2-SI1 means the grade sits between those two.
A loose stone usually becomes a ring. Browse our diamond engagement rings for setting ideas, or bring us an idea or a sketch and our jewelers will design a custom piece around the stone you choose here.
